Our school provides a developmentally appropriate program in a secure and nurturing environment for children between the ages of three months and five years. In partnership with parents, we seek to instill within each child a commitment to Jewish values, a sense of confidence, an ability to solve problems and a natural love of learning. We welcome families of all religious backgrounds. Beth Emet is a warm, nuturing, wonderful place for your child to grow and learn.

Accreditation

Our program is accredited by the National Associaton for the Education of Young Children, the largest and most widely recognized accreditation agency for early childhood programs in the United States. When you choose a NAEYC accredited school for your child, you are guaranteed quality in all areas of the program.  We have also received the Gold Seal Award for Excellence from the Broward County Board of County Commissioners for more than 20 years.

A community for you and your child

At Beth Emet Early Childhood Center you will be welcomed warmly and treated with kindness. Our staff is thoughtful and caring.  We have an active PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) and we offer year round special events and programs extending family participation beyond the school day. You will have an opportunity to meet new families and build life-long relationships.

Our Curriculum

Because we believe that children learn best when they are interested in the subject matter, we use an emergent curriculum, one in which the themes are flexible and take into account the interests of the children. We strive to fir the curriculum to the child, rather than the child to a previously determined curriculum. Children are encourages to make choices, to become problem solvers and to make decisions independently. Judaic content is intergrated into all areas of the curriculum in order to invite children into the joyful world of Jewish values and learning. Our emphasis is to love your child and their natural curiosity. We pride ourselves on providing a perfect blend of nuturing and academic preparedness.

Parental Involvement

Parents are invited and encouraged to become involved in out school! We have an "open door policy" and welcome your participation and your visits. Our wonderful Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) rasies money to provide special equipment and programs for the children, and also offers an opportunity for socialization among the parents. Each class has Room Parents who work closely with the teachers and the PTO.
